Acts4:13 The members of the council were amazed when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, for they could see that they were ordinary men with no special training in the Scriptures. They also recognized them as men who had been with Jesus. NLT
After the early Apostle were baptized with the HolyGhost, a great revival broke out such that ordinary men like Peter and John were used of God mightily. One thing that stood them (Peter and John) out was that they didn't have any unique theological training neither do they know about homiletics (Preaching order) but they knew Jesus.
They stood before the council in defense of their faith. Some of those that sat to judge them were versed in the law and they could tell easily if a man was not well trained. The distinguishing factor that stood Peter and John out was the fact that they had been with Jesus. Their relationship with Jesus had robbed-off on them such that they exude Christ-likeness.
Let me ask you, as a believer what do people notice about you when they see you? Your grammar, nice clothes, your smell or Christ-likeness? I have seen preachers that could speak fluent grammar, shout and do all sort of gymnastics without the evidence of having been with Jesus. Your relationship with Jesus must be so cordial such that when people see you, they'll see Jesus.
I receive grace to know the person of Christ better and to be more like Him In Jesus name. Amen
