A popular preacher once said that there are several ways to God aside Christ. He was on a talk-show programme and he openly denied Christ as the only way to the father. His statement implied that salvation can be found not only in Christ but in other. That's inconsistent with scriptural truth.
Jesus is the only way to the father because salvation cannot be found in any other. I discovered that every religion is trying to access God through means. The African traditionalists believe in God-the supreme being but they believe that certain objects of creation are deities that can be used as a means to reach God.
This concept has crept into the church secretly today where people have attached importance to means as a way of reaching God. The only way to the father is Jesus Christ, he is the door that ALL must pass through, as a reader of this devotional, if you don't have Christ in your life, you're on the wrong track.
Don't look for salvation elsewhere, it can be found In Jesus.
Father, I accept Christ in totality today and I do away with means In Jesus name. Amen
