BELIEVING PRECEDES PERFORMANCE

December 03, 2015 · Lanre Oyeleke · 2 views

Luke1:45 And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.

Recently, I caught light of certain faith principles and the very one that struck me was how faith should precede performance or answers to prayers and not the reverse. What I am saying is that many a times, believers want to see result before they believe God's word but in the scriptures, you must believe and act on what you believe before you can see result.

In Mark11:24, we were told that when we pray, we should believe that we have received what we ask for and then we shall have it. Before you get physical or tangible result from the Lord, there must be a faith mind-set of believing that it is done.

If you pray for healing or any other thing, apply this faith principle of believing that God has healed you even when the symptoms are there. As you stay positive the symptoms will vanish. Blessed are you when you believe because that's what precedes performance. In the kingdom, our principle is believe it and receive it not receive it or see it before you believe it.

Action point

Father, thank you for your word today, I receive grace to walk in true faith In Jesus name. Amen
