LLuke1:67 And his father Zacharias was filled with the Holy Ghost, and prophesied, saying..(76) And thou, child, shalt be called the prophet of the highest: for thou shalt go before the face of the Lord to prepare his ways;
Zachariah was the father of John the Baptist. He had waited for a very long time for the blessing of the womb. He was a just man and God decided to send John the Baptist into his family so that they can monitor and watch him fulfil destiny. God would have done that but he decided to use humans so that he won't break principles that he has laid down.
Zachariah was filled with the HolyGhost and he began to prophesy into the life of John the Baptist. He declared his destiny as revealed by the Spirit not what he wanted but what God desired. As a father, you are the first prophet that should speak by inspiration into the life of your children. Zachariah didn't force any career on little John but he watched him as he played out God's script for his life.
Some parents are filled with the flesh and what they declare into the life of their children are negative words. Even if God has sent a destiny child into your family, if your words about that child isn't in alignment with God's purpose for his life, that child may die unfulfilled. If not for anybody, for the sake of your children be filled with the HolyGhost at all times so that you can speak into their lives by the Spirit.
Father, I receive grace to declare your will into the lives of my child(ren) In Jesus name. Amen
