GOD SHOWS NO FAVORITISM

December 24, 2015 · Lanre Oyeleke · 2 views

Acts10:34 Then Peter replied, "I see very clearly that God shows no favoritism.(35) In every nation he accepts those who fear him and do what is right. NLT

Often I've heard some people call themselves God's favourite. That statement implies that some are loved less and that God gives preference to some people than others. When you read the scripture above very well, apostle Peter made it clear that God accepts those that fear him and what is right. That's the finality of the scriptures on that argument.

God is an impartial God. Your offering cannot buy him over, not even your tithes. If the reverential fear of God is missing in your life, you may miss certain things God has for you. This is a call to right living. Enough of people claiming to be God's favorite when their lives doesn't match-up with God's expectation of them.

Any man or woman from any nation or tribe, race or colour that pleases God would surely receive heaven's accolades. Start paying the price to know God better and strive to do his will. That's how to be God's favourite.

Action point

Father, I receive grace to live in reverential fear of God and to do what is right In Jesus name. Amen
