Jude1:24 Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, KJV

RELYING ON HIS GRACE

I have good news for you. The bible says, God can keep us from falling. Glory! It is not all soldiers that get wounded in battle. Those that stay under the leadership of a wise commandant at the war front are always shielded. Maybe you have fallen and the devil is beginning to tell you that you will fall again, tell him he is a liar.If you look at the extent of the wound, you may never get healing but if you look at the power of the healer, your healing would be quick. God can restore you from that wounded state and make you strong again to fulfill your calling. Kingdom soldier, arise. Today, I want to point you to that man that helped Paul, Peter and other apostles in this race. They finished well and had good testimonies.

The moment you take your eyes away from Christ who can keep you from falling, you're on your way down. Heb 12:2 says, "Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God." If your focus is on Christ and him crucified, even your weaknesses would become your area of strength. Man-made rules cannot achieve all these, even human effort would fail. Apostle Paul said, "For we who worship by the Spirit of God are the ones who are truly circumcised. We rely on what Christ Jesus has done for us. We put no confidence in human effort, (Phil3:3NLT).

What Christ has done for us is that he has released grace for us to stand without falling or getting wounded in the battle. How does this grace work? "For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;"(Titus2:11-12). The grace of God through Christ is a teacher. God's grace is an active force that teaches you against ungodliness and help you to walk on the right path. If we look unto Christ by being consistent in our fellowship with him, grace would teach us to stay away from what would get us wounded.

Action point

CONFESSION: Father, I cease from human effort and I look unto Christ henceforth to stand firm in Jesus name. As i fellowship with Christ in the place of prayer and the word, i receive strength to stand firm in Christ till the end in Jesus name.
