In a revelation, an angel took a man to the record room of heaven where files of all humans are kept. He saw the file of father Abraham and his records were excellent without traces of his short-comings in the file. The man asked the angel, "where is the record of his adultery with Hagar"? The angel replied: "we don't keep records of wrongs here."
If you are a bad boy or bad girl, I am glad you are reading this devotional. I want to introduce you to a father that can forgive your sins, restore and cleanse your evil record IF you repent. God has always had a special love for bad people like you. If the human race was perfectly righteous, he wouldn't have sent Jesus Christ to die for our sins. Rom3:23 says, '"For ALL (including you and me) have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." Have you ever taken your time to ask how Children learnt abusive languages, anger and all forms of wicked things they do from infancy? Actually, no one thought them those things. Sin is instinctual in man because of the nature of sin.
Christ is ready to accept, restore and transform you if you accept Him. God has in his records bad boys turned kingdom giants, Paul was a persecutor, he became one of the greatest apostle in history. Abraham came from an idolatrous background, he lied and committed adultery, Isaac lied and Jacob had all those bad traits in him alone. They all yielded to God and He chose to identify Himself with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. It won't be wrong for me to call God the Father of bad people turned saints. You can rewrite your own history by making this singular decision today:
"Dear Father, I know you love me and that's the reason for sending Christ to die for my sins. I forsake my sins and I choose to accept Christ as my Lord and personal saviour. I confess him as the Lord of my life from today till eternity In Jesus Name."
