Many are praying and seeking the face of God to know his agenda for the hour. They desire to be part of what God is doing. That desire is good but they have failed to look into God's word for answer.

Some people who sense God's call into ministry want to hear 'specific' instructions from the Lord on what the focus of their ministry should be. This has driven many to the mountain to fast and pray. It is not bad to get clarity from the Lord on certain issues but there are baseline assignment/task God gave the church which need no enquiry because it is written in the word.

God is not doing any new thing. His business remains the same- redemption. God's focus is to redeem mankind. Redemption plan which kickstarted even before the foundation of the world was laid is very much in force till now.

The bible says, "The Lord isn’t really being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent"( 2 Peter 3:9 NLT).

The sinners you see on the street, in brothels and in your neighbourhood, they are the concern of God for this very hour. God is looking for men and women who will preach the gospel to them, announcing his redemptive plan. God is recruiting men and women for this important task.

Any church that is not winning the lost actively is a lost church. They are not in tune with God's program here on earth. In fact, they are not in the will of God.

When Jesus was leaving the earth, he said, "And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature"( Mark 16:15). This is a clear command, no ambiguity in this at all.

Preaching the gospel is so important to the point where Paul says, "For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel!"( 1 Cor 9:16).

I am imploring you to feature in God's program for the hour. Let your heart burn for the lost by telling them about the wonders of redemption.
