DON'T HIDE BEHIND KEYPAD TO DISHONOUR

I read the story of a guy who applied to work in one of the banks. He passed all the stages of his interview and his results were excellent.

When he got to the last stage of interview which was oral, he thought he would get the job and everything about salary will be finalized,  the interviewer showed him his tweet about how bad their bank was. In a nutshell, he lost the job.

He never thought they could dig out what he once posted about their bank on twitter. He probably did at a time he did not know he would be applying to work there. He forgot that internet never forgets.

One evil I have seen on the street of social media is dishonour and toxicity. People hide behind their keypads to abuse, dishonour and pour invectives on innocent people some of whom they can't stand in real world.

A number of persons who dishonour preachers on social media cannot boldly say what they said about them online to their faces. There is a demon that makes people hide behind their keypads to type evil.

The person you are abusing on social media may just be the ladder you need to climb someday. The world is a small world.

The surprising thing is how some christians lose their virtues the moment their phones are in their hands. They lose every modicum of dignity and throw caution to the winds in their online conversations.

Your online and offline conversation must be seasoned with salt. The bible says, "Let your conversation( online&offline) be gracious and attractive so that you will have the right response for everyone" ( Colossians 4:6 NLT Emphasis mine).

You cannot join the train of toxic trolls and cyber bullies, you are a child of God. Be reminded about this always. You need to be conscious of your identity in your online
