Reading about the construction of the tabernacle in the book of Exodus, I saw something about God that I often overlook when I study scriptures. That is the specific nature of his instructions.
After God told Moses to build a tabernacle, he did not stop at that. He gave him specific instructions on measurement and dimensions of the tabernacle and the type of wood to he should use.
When God speaks, he is not vague. His instructions are clear and detailed. You may ask, what about instances where God gives a specific instruction without details?
Now, there are two sides to this. Sometimes, in cases such as this, it could be that he wants prompt obedience from you so that he can lead you one step at a time.
There are situations where God will not give details about what is next until you obey the previous instruction.
Another side to the question is that when God gives an instruction that seems unclear, He expects that you ask for clarity. It is possible for you to hear "Go" from the Lord, spiritual intelligence demands you ask, "Lord, where do I go"?
God is not interested in leaving us confused. Beware of instructions that leaves you confused more than it brings clarity. The bible says, “God is not the author of confusion, but of peace" (1 Corinthians 14:33).
It is God's desire to give you clear instructions. Speaking through the psalmist, God says, "I will INSTRUCT thee and TEACH thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will GUIDE thee with mine eye".
