MY HANDS ARE NAILED TO THE CROSS

February 09, 2016 · Lanre Oyeleke · 3 views

Gal2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

A man found himself in a situation where he ought to fight his offender but he didn't raise his hands either to slap or punch the other person, he said 'my hands are nailed to the cross'. That may have stunned those around him. That's the power of the crucified life.

We can get to a point in God where we begin to live the life of Christ on this earth. Paul got to that point where he knew that it was not Saul that was living anymore. He knew that he used to have criminal tendencies and his anger could burn down a city. Maybe someone got him angry on a certain and he remembered what he would have done and he said 'I am crucified with Christ, nevertheless I live: yet not I'.

Every believer has been crucified with Christ but not every believer is living out the crucified life. You must submit your life to the control of the Spirit for your crucified nature to manifest. Temptations that would want us to bring out our fleshy nature would come, but when you're under the Spirit's control, you'll also talk like that man 'My anger has been nailed to the Cross'.

Action point

Father, I receive grace to live out the crucified life In Jesus name. Amen
