Luke17:1 One day Jesus said to his disciples, "There will always be temptations to sin, but what sorrow awaits the person who does the tempting! NLT
A man went to meet a preacher for prayers. He told the preacher to pray for him so that he won't be tempted again in life. The preacher prayed that he would die and cross into glory. Immediately, the man stood up in protest against the prayers of the preacher. The preacher made it clear to him that as long as he lives, temptation is inevitable.
Dearest, Jesus our master made it clear that temptation to sin will always be there but it doesn't mean we'll always fall for the temptation if we walk in the Spirit. The only man or woman that cannot be tempted is a dead man, as long as we live, we'll keep facing temptation but grace is available to overcome.
According to 1Cor10:13, God has provided an escape route for every temptation that comes your way that doesn't mean you should set yourself up for temptation. Also, avoid being an object of temptation for others especially in the way you dress. The woe upon the person who does the tempting is greater than that of the tempted.
Beware!!!
I receive grace to overcome temptations and not to be an object of temptation In Jesus Name. Amen
