2Cor10:18 When people commend themselves, it doesn't count for much. The important thing is for the Lord to commend them. NLT
There is a Yoruba adage that says ' child that has not been to another person's farm would think that his father's farm is the biggest.' In the things of God, you don't give yourself commendation but rather, you leave that in God's hands.
God has so many of his sons doing great things and making impact. That you don't know them doesn't mean they are not existing. You don't microphone your kingdom exploits so that people will praise you. When the focus is on getting feedback from people for you to feel good, you'll miss it.
Pride is very subtle and it creeps in without notice. The things you call impact may be the direct opposite of what heaven calls impact. When you surround yourselves with people who will sing your praises, you may end like Herod. Apostle Paul covered so many grounds for the Lord, yet his simple prayer was 'that I may not be a cast away'.
Stop commending yourself, let God do that.
Father, I receive grace to walk in absolute humility In Jesus name. Amen
