Phil1:21 For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.
Apostle Paul was an exceptional apostle and his writings still remains a reference point on our altars today. His words have caused controversy and many have twisted it to mean something else. The goal of Paul while alive was to live for Christ and if God takes him home, it is not bad either.
His life was devoted to Christ and nothing more and in death, he still wouldn't be at loss. Every true believer's life should have same focus like that of Paul- alive for Christ and gain in death. Your existence should be for an audience of one- Christ. Also, if you die, it should be because you're through serving the purpose of Christ here on earth.
If you die when you haven't served the purpose of Christ, your death can't be a gain. Your obituary should read 'With regrets in our heart, we mourn the loss of a man that died unfulfilled'. No man can live for Christ and still not fulfil why he came into this world. Death is only profitable for a man that has done the master's will and finished his assignment.
I receive grace to live for Christ and fulfil his will for my life In Jesus Name. Amen
