IT DOES NOT APPLY TO YOU

February 18, 2016 · Lanre Oyeleke · 3 views

Romans3:19 Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.

There is a mix up by some believers that still try to adhere strictly to all the details of the law. If we take a cursory look at the law, sincerely, no man can fulfil or obey in totality all that were commanded in the law. Trying to achieve justification by the deeds of the law is what the Galatians Christians were trying to do and Paul called them foolish.

Apostle Paul made it clear that those things written in the law was for those that were under the law not you. You are no longer under the law because Christ has fulfilled the demands of the law and he gave us a new life under his grace. The law is a bondage because it was given that all men may be guilty before God.

Believers need to learn more about how to live a life that is pleasing to God under the dispensation of grace. You cannot please God with the law mentality. It takes an understanding of grace to walk in grace and please the God of all grace.

Action point

Father, help me to walk in grace in a manner that is pleasing unto you In Jesus name. Amen
