Gal3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
When I look at the whole world, I discover that there are disparities which reflects in tribes, race, language, culture, colour and other things. In a country like Nigeria, there are several ethnic divisions. These ethnic divisions has affected the choices that people make and even in politics, it becomes a silent consideration for appointments known as federal character.
In God's kingdom, your language, tribe, colour, culture or ethnic affiliation is not a criteria anymore. Paul was trying to let the Galatians (Gentiles) know that the dividing wall has been broken in Christ. A believer should not be assessed from the standpoint of his culture or race. A christian is a christian.
There are Christians whose christianity is tribal. They believe there are no genuine believers from other cultures, they limit the choice of whom to marry to their tribe even against God's will. When God called us into salvation, he didn't loook at our race or colour, he looked at Christ. If we don't learn to look at Christ in people, we are disregarding the blood of Christ.
We belong to a kingdom without disparity.
Father, I receive the grace to look at people the way you see them In Jesus name.
