Rom13:10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.
James Randuk had a very bad neighbour whose attitude was stinking. When James took ill and he needed someone to drive him to the hospital on a sunny day, he approached his neighbour for a ride knowing fully well that it was in his capacity to help him but his neighbour gave a flimsy excuse. Due to his inability to move to the hospital, James Randuk's case became worse.
Fortunately for him, some brethren from the community church that he was attending came visiting and found him in a deplorable condition. They took him to the hospital and he recovered. His nasty neighbour travelled and he left his 8months pregnant wife at home with his asthmatic daughter. One night, his neighbour's daughter had an attack and there was no inhaler.
James Randuk was called upon to help out in driving down to the nearest drug store to get an inhaler. Immediately, he remembered what the girl's father did to him and he almost ignored the call to help. The HolySpirit immediately reminded him of Romans 13:10- 'Love worketh no ill to his neighbour'. Immediately, he swung into action and the life of his neighbour's daughter was rescued.
When you still harbour resentment even to the point of wanting to retaliate, that's working ill to someone else. Let God work on your heart so that you can be a reflection of his unconditional love to a world that didn't accept his love offer.
Father, Iet my life be a reflection of your love In Jesus name. Amen
