The synoptic gospels revealed to us the person of Christ. We saw in him a man that is compassionate, focused,loving, caring, bold, confident, pure, gentle and wise. He was an embodiment of every good thing that we can ever imagine. Jesus had the right answer to every question and at times, he didn't even answer his critics.
His life was unique and uncommon. That baffled the people that lived in his day. His teachings was a sharp contrast to what Moses taught and that made him the enemy of the Pharisees. Christ represents God and everything you're looking for in God is in Christ. He has the very nature of God but he thought it not robbery to be equal with God.
The disciples of Christ patterned their life after Christ, when the people of Antioch saw them, they called them Christians. Unbelievers have a little knowledge about Christ-likeness, that is why when a Christian misbehave, they say 'and you call your self a Christian'?. God wants you to be transformed daily into the image of Christ by the word&Spirit.
Let your all-consuming vision be Christ.
