THE POWER OF RELATIONSHIP

David was anointed to take over from Saul. His prophetic destiny was to replace Saul and reign in his stead. However, when you look at the journey of David to the throne, Jonathan played the crucial role of preserving his life from Saul at one time or the other, 1 Sam 20. What about Joseph the dreamer? The butler was his link to the palace of Pharaoh. Though he forgot him for sometime but the relationship paid off at a later time. No matter how fervent Joseph prayed about his prophetic destiny, he couldn't reach his goal without the butler.

God can do all things without man but he has chosen not to do certain things without men. For every prophecy that has gone ahead of you, there are God-ordained men that are meant to act as catalyst and midwives before you can birth the promise of God. Most times, people in this category are people around us that we have met in time past or may be around us presently. Knowing how to relate with them properly is the key that will unlock the doors of fulfillment of prophecy.

Stop taking people for granted. There's always an interplay of human and divine partnership in God's program for our lives. You may be gifted like Joseph with the prophecy of rulership hanging over your head but you'll need someone who knows the king to recommend you for the throne. You never can tell who will announce your expertise where it is needed. Treasure relationships and never look down on people. I always thank those who give a token to support our ministry as though they give millions. Sometimes, they wonder why? Over the years I've seen those who started partnering with us by giving little token and had become big givers today. If I had discarded them in their days of little giving and didn't treasure our relationship, I'll have lost the privilege of sharing in their breakthrough. Keep that relationship intact, it may be the last ladder you need to climb before entering into the fullness of God's plan for your life.

Action point

Father, I thank you for sending your word to me. I receive grace to treasure and keep relationships in Jesus name. Amen.
