Recently on social media, there was a heightened campaign for 'LGBTQ' right but in a subtle form. However, the subtlety involved was loud and discerning minds can tell what the intention was. Painfully, some Christians were involved in this pro LGBTQ right campaign. As I read the several posts and defense put up especially by some Christians, I know that our generation has started stepping on God's toes again. How some believers were able to write a long article n defense of nonsense and couldn't write a short gospel tract or short evangelistic articles for spread on social media raises suspicion.
The very things they did In Sodom and Gomorrha that brought God's wrath on that city and her inhabitants is thesame thing our generation is campaigning for. That we live under grace doesn't change the fiery nature of God: "for our “God is a consuming fire”, Hebrews 12:29 NIV. The moment you begin to love what God hates and even lend a voice to its practice and legalization, you're already stepping on God's toes. God will not tilt towards the civilization and ideologies of today's world that doesn't conform to his standard.
You may not be perverse in your actions but as long as your thought line gives room for its practice, you are one and the same with those who indulge in it. Romans1:32 says, "They know God’s justice requires that those who do these things deserve to die, yet they do them anyway. Worse yet, they encourage others to do them, too", NLT. I'm admonishing you as God's servant not to encourage what God hates. The right to live is not the same as the right to practice perversion.
Father, I receive the grace to love what you love and hate what you hate in Jesus name.
