Gal6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. KJV
INPUT DETERMINES OUTPUT
In computer programming, there's an acronym known as GIGO which means garbage in garbage out. What they're trying to teach is that a computer would only give back what has been programmed into it. In agriculture, under normal circumstances, whatsoever you sow is what you'll reap. The principles shared applies to marriage. You cannot get from your marriage what you have not invested into it. Simple!
I keep hearing about making marriage work on the lips of almost every marriage counselor. How can we make marriage work? By sowing the right seeds into our marriages. Which seeds are we talking about here, mango, corn, orange or apple seeds? Of course not. The bible specified the seeds to be sown. To the husband, the bible commanded that you love your wife as Christ loved the church, Eph5:25. This love is unconditional. Love is the primary need of a woman, if you give it to her without reservation, you'll get the very best from her.
To the woman, bible's prescription is submission, Col3:18. The word of God didn't attach condition to it. Feminism is trying to attach a condition to submission and sometimes they don't even regard it at all. Some don't even like to hear that word. From the beginning, God knew what would make marriage work because he founded the institution. No matter how we try, the bible principle still work for all times and all ages.
CONFESSION: Father, i receive the grace to sow the right seeds into my marriage. My home is built on godly principles and my marriage is working by the power of the Spirit In Jesus name.
