2 Corinthians 4:13 We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak; KJV
I was in the hospital some times ago, they rushed accident victims in. One of the victims began to declare that he would not die but live to declare the goodness of God in the land of the living. Though he was writhing in pains, his declaration stood him out from other victims. I have experienced the power of faith confession working for me and other believers. When my wife was pregnant with our first baby, i insisted that she won't go through surgery despite her health condition and it was so.
On the other hand, i have seen negative confession come to pass. We were going for an outreach in a village years back, we got to a flooded portion on the road, our driver said we wouldn't go past the waters, as he tried to drive through, the vehicle broke down. Surprisingly, smaller vehicles passed through the flood but ours couldn't make it through. That was the power of confession at work.
You can change your life by changing your confession. Genuine faith in God's word does not keep quiet. I'm yet to see faith work without someone giving a voice to it. Don't tell me you have faith in God's promises for your life when you're not confessing it. Don't say what majority are saying neither should you confess your circumstance. The latter part of Mark11:23 says that you shall have whatsoever you say. You cannot see what you have not been saying. From today, change your confession to what you desire to see about your life.
CONFESSION: I am a joy to many generation, the evil of today is not for me and my household. I live in health and wealth. Only the counsel of God shall come to pass in my life In Jesus name.
