Psalms119:160 All your words are true; all your righteous laws are eternal. NIV
My son accused me of lying to him because i failed in fulfilling my promise. Sometimes, we try to shake off the burden of continous requests from our children by telling them what they want to hear not what we would do in truth. Have you ever been there before? Most times, we do this without being conscious of the fact that we are lying. This syndrome is common to parents especially those with children whose demands are high.
God does not act like our earthly parents. Somehow, we've all experienced failed promises from our parents once but God's word is everly true. He is committed to fulfilling His word more than anything because His integrity would be on the line if He fails. In Psalms138:2, the Psalmist made it clear that God esteem his word more than his name. The day God's word fail, then he becomes a liar but the bible says: God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged. Romans 3:4
Stop doubting God's word. God is not a man whose words are unreliable. What he said in his word concerning you and your well-being, they shall come to pass. Sometimes, it may seem there's a delay but tarry in faith, that promise would come to pass. Do not let circumstances surrounding your life cast doubt in your heart. God has declared healing, victory, provision, deliverance and other benefits in his word, believe Him.
Father, i receive the grace to believe your word In Jesus name.
