The devil mimics the principles of faith to to wreck havoc in people's lives. In 1Sam17, Goliath did not shoot any arrow neither did he use any spear or javelin on the armies of Israel. He gave them a seminar of fear for forty days and great colonels like Eliab went into hiding. He spoke words of fear and they accepted his words as true even general Saul.
They went into hiding because his threats magnified him more than he really was. That's what the devil does about our problems, he creates dirty imaginations and sow fear into our hearts. Goliath lied to them about what he could do that he didn't even do in their presence. That's why they called him 'Go liar'. He knows how to 'Go and lie'. Goliath. The devil is the father of all liars, his language is lies. John8:44
Bro David engaged God's word to build his own faith and he conquered Goliath with a very small stone. Who would have thought that a stone would kill the giant?
when the devil wants to kill faith, he uses words and when the Spirit of God wants to strengthen your faith, he uses words. God's word is referred to as the 'word of faith' in Romans 10.
Let it continually be in your heart and mouth. That's the surest way to victory.
CONFESSION: - God's word is working in me to do wonders. I refuse to look at the size of that problem and listen to the lying voices speaking to me. God's words says I am healed and I believe it is so. God never said I'm broke so I can never be broke. My needs are met and my bills are paid. Glory!!!
