2Pet1:3- By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence.
There's a mystery about the common salvation we share. That mystery can only be revealed through knowledge. Salvation is a complete package and there's nothing you need that isn't in salvation. The power to please God and live above sin is available to us all in salvation. Glory!!!
The issue with most believers isn't that of availability but that of accessibility. It takes a thorough knowledge of what it is to be a new creation to be godly. Ungodly living in the life of a believer isn't because of the devil and demons only but it is reflective of a gross lack of knowledge in God's provision for mankind.
We were ungodly before we met Christ but as soon as he came into our lives, the power to be godly was received. Now, that mystery that enables us to be godly is CHRIST. Christ cannot be explained but revealed. We all need the revelation of Christ and be discipled to become like him.
Discipleship isn't a class but a lifelong learning and imitation of Christ that'll permeate our entire being.
Father, reveal Christ to me and help me to be a faithful disciple In Jesus Name.
