A woman brought her child to a man of God. The child was seriously ill and all efforts to get healing proved abortive. By revelation, God spoke through the man of God telling the woman to forgive her mother-in-law. As soon as she forgave her, her child was healed instantly without prayers. Unforgiveness opened the door of sickness and the child was attacked.
Jesus was teaching those that followed him several kingdom issues and one of it was about forgiveness, he made it clear that to receive forgiveness from God, we must forgive those that offend us. As simple as it sounds, unforgiveness has stopped the breakthroughs of many and hindered the prayers of many prayer warriors.
Unforgiveness is always sweet to the person habouring it but it is a slow poison that kills gradually and disconnects a man from grace. Unforgiveness is a type of breaking the hedge, it removes our spiritual protection and covering thereby making us susceptible to attacks of all sorts and sicknesses.The only thing that would prevent a man from benefitting from God's grace of forgiveness is unforgiveness.
Even seeds,tithes and offerings can be rendered unacceptable by unforgiveness. Forgiveness isn't easy anyway but when you think about what Christ did to earn you God's forgiveness, no man is worth keeping in the prison of your heart.
