When the Mozambicans were fighting for Independence, they adopted the Portuguese slogan 'A luta continua, vitoria e certa' which means the struggle continues victory is certain. I am concerned about the victory and not the struggle because the main struggle to set us free from the dominion of the devil was completed on the cross.
When we talk about kingdom victory, it doesn't refer to fighting a fresh battle but rather a faith battle. Christ has won the victory for us over the battles of life, we don't need to fight devil, demons or even sin anymore. All we need to do is to put faith in the victory on the cross. What a wonderful Jesus!
The only warfare we were told to fight is the fight of faith. That is why the scripture above made it clear that the pathway to victory is through faith. The devil seeks to always attack your faith life and that was why Jesus told Peter that his prayer for him was that his faith won't fail him.
No matter what you maybe going through now, the 'a luta' has been done by Jesus on the Cross and 'victoria' is yours. The battle is the Lord's but the victory is yours. Glory!
