In the time of Jesus, the Pharisee had a special look that made them appear unto men as righteous people. Their clothes were specially designed as required by the custom of their day. When you see them even from afar, they can easily be recognised but their hearts are dirty.
Sincerely, we have those that are Pharisical in looks today. Their appearance have deceived a lot of people. Some have used their appearance to defraud other believers and even wreck havoc in homes. How can we explain the case of a sister that doesn't use trinkets but snatched another woman's husband? That's not Christ-like.
A good believer would appear or dress well and add a Christ-like character to his/ her appearance. You are Christian because you act like Christ and not because you appear religious. We all need to allow God work on our hearts because that is where things flow from. Only a pure heart would see God not a man/woman that wears white clothes.
