Heb 2:18- And now he can help those who are tempted. He is able to help because he himself suffered and was tempted.
Sometimes, our adversities makes us feel that God doesn't understand what we are going through. We sometimes feel forgotten and alone in our times of deepest struggles. What about when we are tempted? Yes, there are temptations that are really tempting. You know what I mean. Imagine when you're broke and indebted heavily, but an opportunity presents itself to you to steal by changing figures.
Several temptations abound in our world today that makes us feel God is silent to makes us fall. Don't tell me that a man whose wife has been barren for years won't be tempted to have a mistress. Those are the realities of our days but I have a good news for you. Christ was tempted just like you, yet he was without sin.
He was once in your shoes and yet was without a fault. Now, he can help those who find themselves in tempting situations and life's struggles. If you turn to him, he'll show you the way out because he has passed through that same issue before. He is the burden-bearer. Until Christ becomes so real to you, you may not be able to take advantage of this glorious ministry of his.
