Luke13:7- Finally, he said to his gardener, 'I've waited three years, and there hasn't been a single fig! Cut it down. It's just taking up space in the garden.'(
"The gardener answered, 'Sir, give it one more chance. Leave it another year, and I'll give it special attention and plenty of fertilizer. NLT
Jesus told the story of a man that planted fig but couldn't get any fruit from it whenever he comes. He was fed-up about the fruitless tree so he ordered his gardener to cut it down because the tree was using up space and sapping the soil nutrient. The gardener begged him to leave it for one more year to see if it would produce fruit.
You are God's investment and he's expecting you to produce fruit. He has endowed you and provided all that you need to produce fruit of righteousness. If you read our devotionals and other edifying materials coupled with your bible and yet, your life isn't pleasing to God, you are taking space.
God is the God of another chance. Your own another chance could be a second chance or more, now is time to do the master's bidding and give an output that is commensurate to God's input upon your life. Your education and training is God's input into your life to make you a plus to the kingdom. Stop taking space and using spiritual nutrients without discharging it properly.
Be fruitful.
Father, I receive the grace to be fruitful In Jesus Name.
