Sometimes ago in school, I was mocked by an unbeliever because of my commitment to the work of God. We were in the same academic class that time but God saw my heart and He knew that the mockery was directed at Him. From that semester onward, I experienced a divine intervention in my academics that left that lady behind me till we left school.
There must be a difference in your life and that of unbelievers. What is killing others shouldn't kill you, you shouldn't fall where others are falling because your breed is different, you are the king's kid, you are not of this world and your life is eternal life, the life that cannot be conquered by sickness and pain. Glory!
Many are shouting recession and languishing in the pains of the hardship in the economy, that's their testimony. Yours should be different; knowing how to use your Spiritual position to influence your physical circumstances here on earth is the key to being different from others. The principle that makes it work is faith, unleash your faith and you'll be different.
