1Pet3:12 The eyes of the Lord watch over those who do right, and his ears are open to their prayers. But the Lord turns his face against those who do evil.” NLT
If there is any error I've seen recently, it is the error of believers not caring about living right. Why did I say that? Some see doing things right as being legalistic or using the 'law' to please God and obtaining righteousness which is totally far from how the new testament represent these issue.
Obedience to God and walking in the ways of God( truth and holiness) isn't works of the law but rather an outworking of the Spirit in the heart of a regenerated being. Under the dispensation of grace, Apostle Peter made it clear that God gives attention to the prayers of those who do right and that's plain and simple English for anyone to understand.
Do not join the band wagon of believers who don't care, God cares about seeing your life become Christ-like and you must cooperate with the Holy Spirit to live out the life of our new found righteousness. Apart from screaming up and down about being the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, the world around you must see it in you.
Father, as from today, I make a commitment to you to act right as it is consistent with my new creation status In Jesus name. Amen
