Isaiah30:15 This is what the Sovereign LORD,the Holy One of Israel, says:
"Only in returning to me and resting in me will you be saved. In quietness and confidence is your strength. But you would have none of it. NLT
We live in a world filled with chaos and stress, in this world, there is no rest of mind for many because a lot of people are in a rat race. The reason for the stress is because many are far from God and they are not walking in the purpose of God for their lives. There is fear in the heart of most men, what we call fear of the unknown.
God's word to us today is that we should return to the Him and find rest in Him. Don't focus on your circumstances, simply look up to God. That scripture further said 'In quietness and confidence is your strength'. To be quiet in this context means to be free from anxiety, the way many people worry is appaling. The minds of some people is noisy and never calm, when they are alone, they'll start talking to themselves sometimes even amidst crowd.
The way to triumphant living is faith and nothing more. The world is not designed for the lilly-livered, those that cannot go past their hurts, pains and worries have no place of honour here. Above all, those that do not put their total trust in God cannot experience the peace of God.
Dear father, I receive grace to put my total trust in you and may my life experience the rest that only you can give In Jesus name. Amen
