Zechariah3:2 And the LORD said to Satan, "I, the LORD, reject your accusations, Satan. Yes, the LORD, who has chosen Jerusalem, rebukes you. This man is like a burning stick that has been snatched from the fire." NLT
There was a time in my life that the devil brought accusations against me before God, he tormented me day and night about my past and made me feel like the worst sinner of all time. He ridiculed the blood of Jesus and tried to convince me that the blood cannot wash away my sins. You will wonder how I got to know all these, I got to know about all these when I sensed a cloud of condemnation around me.
When the devil begins to tell you that you are not good enough to receive God's blessings, when he begins to play the video of your past in your mind and you feel heavily burdened with the load of sin, you should know that he has started one of his ministry- ministry of accusation. He is the accuser of the brethren not unbelievers. Today and forever, for those that are blood-washed, his accusations are rejected (Rom8:1-2).
The devil loves to present before God several reasons why He shouldn't bless you but you must let this truth sink deep down in your heart- his accusations would always be rejected. Glory! If God has rejected his baseless accusations, why dwell on them again? If you cannot accept this truth by faith, the devil will always make you feel dull and moody and your faith would be weak, this is one of the benefits in the finished work of Christ.
