Zechariah4:10 Do not despise these small beginnings, for the LORD rejoices to see the work begin, to see the plumb line in Zerubbabel's hand." (The seven lamps represent the eyes of the LORD that search all around the world.)NLT
Starting up in ministry, business and other ventures is not always an easy task and it has always been very challenging for every pioneer. I remember when I started out in ministry years back, getting people to believe in my assignment was a tough challenge but it is better today than what it was yesterday. The fear of unknown is also one of the things that most pioneer battle with at the onset of any endeavour.
Whatever God has told you to do, be it a church, a business, a school or a music group, do not despise your little beginning. Some saw how little they were to begin and because of that, they disembarked from the journey of destiny. Most big churches today started in the living room, shops or even schools with just a few member. Some churches started with only the Pastor and his family.
Bishop Oyedepo said he started with six members, he worked in almost all departments of the church but today, we know what has become of his ministry. Don't give-up on your vision, no great thing start great, every great vision started small and grows gradually. There is a place of endurance and you need that virtue to make your vision grow. The only thing that starts from the top is the grave, don't despise the days of small beginnings, start small and grow big.
Father, let your vision for my grow in leaps and bounds In Jesus name.
