TAKE PRECAUTIONS

November 29, 2016 · Lanre Oyeleke · 2 views

Proverbs27:12 A prudent person foresees danger and takes precautions. The simpleton goes blindly on and suffers the consequences. NLT

There was a time I was growing fat and everyone around me was wondering what I was eating so I decided to look for the cause and I discovered that I have become addicted to mayonnaise whose major composition is egg, salt and sugar. Immediately I stopped it.Also, when my belly began to bulge, I discovered that I was taking heavy meals at night. I stopped and I trimmed down months after. Why should a man look like a pregnant woman?

As God's children, the faith life is not a foolish life, in as much as we live by faith, God has placed in our hands the responsibility to mitigate or prevent certain things. The sickness some are going through today is self-inflicted and not demon initiated.

In all areas of our lives, we need to sense and cut-off from whatever may portend danger now and in the future. That's wisdom. If you see that there is a leaking hole in your finances, block it, don't wait until danger comes before taking precaution, take the right action now. If you're sensing danger in your relationship, why are you still in it? Don't manage a fiancee that beats you, doesn't love God and is reckless, take precaution.

Action point

Father, I receive the wisdom to take precautions where necessary In Jesus name.
