Jer20:11 But the LORD stands beside me like a great warrior. Before him my persecutors will stumble. They cannot defeat me.They will fail and be thoroughly humiliated. Their dishonor will never be forgotten. NLT
Prophet Jeremiah was persecuted in the course of doing ministry, at a time he was imprisoned, thrown into the pit and all sort of evil punishment were meted out on him. The plan of the devil was to shut his mouth, silence his voice and kill the message God gave him to the nation of Israel but God was with him like a mighty warrior. His enemies stumbled, fell and were greatly humiliated.
As a man on assignment, there shall be opposition on your way to destiny, you cannot escape it. It comes in diverse forms to us, the challenges of life are things we cannot escape from but we are sure of victory over those challenges. The confidence of Jeremiah was in God and not man, he saw God as the mighty warrior so he was resting when they expected him to fidget.
What's your disposition to challenges in life? Do you fidget? You need to let your confidence lie in the fact that you have a mighty God bigger and greater than your challenges. I see him fighting your battles, humiliating your enemies and putting them to shame. Do not fret, let your confidence be in this.
I crush the works of wickedness in my life In Jesus name. Amen
