Have you ever asked yourself what you intend doing with wealth? All around us, we can see what some people even Christians are doing with their wealth, some are showing off with it, some are amassing properties with their wealth, some are marrying more wives and oppressing the poor with it.
A believer that doesn't have good intention for wealth may not be blessed by God because God hates abuse. The first thing to do with wealth is to honor Him with your wealth. To honour God with one's wealth simply means to use one's wealth for God's glory. When your purpose for desiring wealth isn't for this major purpose, God is not happy.
Whether you like to hear this or not, kingdom assignments need material and financial resources. The gospel message is free but ministry is expensive and it is done at a cost. God won't finance His work from the pocket of drug barons nor thieves, He want to use His children. When God sees that your motive for wealth is kingdom oriented, He'll give it to you.
Father, I will not squander the resources you give to me on frivolities, I receive the grace to use it for kingdom advancement In Jesus name. Amen
