Ephesians5: 18 Don’t be drunk with wine, because that will ruin your life. Instead, be filled with the Holy Spirit, NLT
I once had the opportunity to rescue someone that was drunk. We expected him to return home on time but it was already late in the night, when we called his number, another person picked it and told us he was lying on the floor because he was drunk. When we got there, truly he was lying beside a gutter in reckless abandon.
When we took him up, he started dancing to the music that was playing in the club house, he doesn't care about anything anymore. He began to speak gibberish; do you know that when we get filled with the Holy Ghost to a point, we wouldn't mind what the circumstances around us are. When you're drunk in the Spirit, you'll begin to laugh in the Holy Ghost even in the face of daunting challenge. I've been in meetings where people were so drunk in the Spirit that they couldn't walk home, we had to get a cab for them because they kept speaking in tongues.
Apostle Paul was a drunk man spiritually, the Holy Ghost was working in him full blast, he doesn't care about what people say or the jail sentence that may result, he was declaring the word of God boldly everywhere he went even when facing trials. He prophesied in the face of an impending shipwreck and performed signs and wonders.
It is only when we are drunk in the Spirit that we can manifest the supernatural.
Spend at least 30minutes daily, praying in tongues.
