DELIVERANCE AND DEDICATION
God is performing great wonders through deliverance ministers today. I laugh at those that arrogantly say 'there's nothing like deliverance ministry'. They are trying to make sense but sometimes don't make bible sense. In ministry, we have different giftings, graces and callings. Some operate in deliverance ministry without stress while some struggle in that area but they have a mastery of other areas. That's God for you. Him alone knows why it is like that. I thank God for all deliverance ministers and ministries all over the world. We should not mock a dimension of grace that we don't understand probably because it doesn't fit into our theology.
However, we should not run our churches as deliverance centres only where all people come for is deliverance without being taught or told to be dedicated to the Lord. There are those who claim to be specialist in casting out demons and delivering people from all sort of demonic attacks, in fact I saw the sign post of a church saying, 'we specialize in demonology'. Maybe they meant deliverance or just study of demons but most assuredly, the former. Those kinds of places seem to attract more people in need of solution but only a few pursue salvation. Deliverance and dedication must go together. Mary Magdalene was among those that went round with Jesus during His earthly ministry after Jesus delivered her from seven demons.
Jesus showed her the path of dedication after deliverance, little wonder why she followed Jesus everywhere. God is interested in delivering the oppressed but much more, He want to see the delivered become dedicated unto him through kingdom service. A lot of people go for deliverance services and programmes as a quick fix but they have no relationship with God. They want to do three days fasting and prayer so as to get delivered and return to a life that is not dedicated to God. Don't use God as a means to achieve your end, let him use you as a means to achieve His end. That is only possible when you live a life that is dedicated to Him.
Father, I receive grace to be dedicated unto the Lord In Jesus name.
