VISION part 3

Eph1:17 asking God, the glorious Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, to give you spiritual wisdom and insight so that you might grow in your knowledge of God. NLT

INSIGHT

Insight is the capacity to gain an accurate and deep understanding of someone or something. Some call it intuition or perception. This is another quality of vision that true visionaries must have. After seeing ahead( foresight), you must have insight. You cannot run with a vision you don't understand accurately. God will tell or show you what lies ahead but He doesn't stop there if you press further.

If there's anything we can learn from Moses, one of it is that he received from God the details about his assignment. He was so close to God to the point where God gave him the measurement and dimensions of the ark and other structures they put up in the wilderness. The challenge most people have is that after hearing God tell them about the assignment He has for them, they don't press further to know more details about the assignment.

Understanding comes when the details of the assignment is known. Another thing you can do to deepen your insight about a given vision is to study others that have similar vision. There's nothing new under heaven. Someone somewhere has pursued your line of vision or is pursuing it presently. Go get their books and study them. Bishop Oyedepo said he studied 38 biographies of Pastors after God told him he would pioneer a church. Today, the result is there for all to see. To gain insight about your foresight, ask the Holy Spirit and study other visionaries.

Action point

Father, I ask for the Spirit of wisdom and revelation about the vision you've given to me In Jesus name.
