2Tim2:2 The things which you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses, entrust these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.
FAITH AND FAITHFULNESS
I thank God for the preachers and teachers of faith. The Christian world may not have operated in the supernatural without the knowledge of faith. The exploits of faith cannot be over emphasized. The exploits of Jesus Christ in healing and miracles may not have happened if the people He ministered to didn't exercise their faith.
Most times, Jesus made statements like: "Be it unto you according to your faith"(Matthew9:29). The kinsmen of the Messiah could not benefit from his ministry because of their unbelief(Mark 6:5). That shows how important faith is. However, there's something you must add to faith, it is faithfulness. If you have faith that can move mountains, heal the sick and raise the dead without being faithful, you'll make a mess of your Christian testimony. Faithfulness is akin to integrity. In 2Kgs22:4-7, we were told about the contributions made towards repair in the temple, the priests who kept the monies did not need to account for the money because they were faithful. That's what the bible said.
Even though we have been made the righteousness of God in Christ, great responsibilities would be assigned only to men that have demonstrated that righteousness through faithfulness. Dear preacher, as you preach and teach faith don't forget to preach about faithfulness. Of what use is a life of faith when you are not faithful to your spouse or faithful in money matters? God's desire for His children is to be balanced in their way of life.
Father, I receive the grace to combine faith with faithfulness In Jesus name.
