VISION NEED THE SUPPORT OF RIGHT PEOPLE
When I entered into the ministry, my idea about running a ministry was not in line with scriptures. I desired to run the ministry as the sole financier. I began to pursue juicy jobs so that I can use my earnings to run the work so that I won't receive support from people. Don't blame me for that, I was afraid of being perceived wrongly so I became too careful but I was on the wrong path. It took a while before God cured me of that negative mentality. In Luke 8:1-4,Jesus received financial support from some women. Though He is God but in His incarnate state, he received support so that his vision can be fulfilled.
Receiving support is not only in financial aspect. We need support from those that will labour tirelessly until the vision is fulfilled. Jesus had the twelve disciples with him as vision boosters and workers. Though Apostle Paul had an unusual grace to take over territories yet he didn't do it alone. His missionary calling started with Barnabas as his companion (Acts13)and later, Silas and others joined him,Acts 16. It is not just about getting people alone but getting the right set of people. Some people are vision killers while others are vision boosters. Apostle Paul complained about a man called Alexander the coppersmith who did much harm to him. That's the type of man you don't need 2Tim4:14.
Yes, you may start the race alone but you cannot succeed in the pursuit of your vision unless others support you. No matter how skillful a football player is, he need a team for his talent to come limelight. You cannot run with your God-given vision alone.Start building a team around your vision. Anything you can do alone without needing help is obviously an ambition not a vision.
Father, send me the right people to support the vision you gave me In Jesus name
