THE MAN GOD CANNOT USE PT.5

THE ANTI CHURCH

It is common today to see people who hate the institution called "Church" and they do all that is within their power to launch campaign of hate against the church and the leaders of the church.

Quite a number of these people have pseudo ministries that propagate lies, attacks and invectives against the church. They lure people into an isolated spiritual wilderness and disconnect them from the gathering of the brethren where they can fellowship and draw spiritual nourishment.

And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near( Hebrews 10:25 NLT).

The church is God's plan. He doesn't have an alternative plan. Most of these church haters carved out a "ministry" for themselves against the church to lure people away from under sound pastoral leadership. They do this because of their painful experience in the church.

However, that's not a justification for taking sides with the devil against the church. If you've grown to hate the church and all that God is doing through her, God can't use you.

Now I say to you that you are Peter (which means ‘rock’), and upon this rock I will build my church, and all the powers of hell will not conquer it( Mt16:18).

Every ministry and minister that is against the church will not stand. Beware of those who pitch you against the church and church leaders. No matter how intellectually sound they are coupled with their high sounding "theologies", God cannot use them.

God won't scatter His own institution. That's not to say there are no pseudo churches here and there. However, the true church of God where God's word is taught shouldn't be a subject of hateful debate and attack.

The church may not be perfect but Christ is the perfecter of the Church. He is washing His church and purging her of impurities. Why stand against God's ongoing project?

Today, we have many Sauls who came out of the body to attack the church yet they fail to realize they are kicking against the pricks. Soon, they'll be hurting their feet.

I see a lot of church haters online and some of the persons who champion this cause sound like men with 'special ministries' but deep within me, I know they're fighting a battle they can't win. God doesn't use such persons. Don't be a disciple of such people if you desire God to use you.
