Ecclesiastes 11:4 He who observes the wind will not sow, And he who regards the clouds will not reap( NKJV)
Everyone aspire to be great. We all seem to have a vision for greatness and enlargement. When praying, we include in our prayers this desire.
Not only do we desire to be great, we also have an idea of the things we intend to do when we become great. If I ask, what will you do when you become a millionaire?
A number of persons will speak glowingly about great projects they intend doing that'll eventually benefit humanity. Almost everyone have a postponed desire for the future.
However, you don't need to be big or great before you start those things. Often, we overlook the power of starting small and growing big with time. Don't wait till you're big before your life benefit humanity.
If you don't have a culture of doing the right thing when you're small, you may not do it when you become great.
Oftentimes, I've had people tell me they wish to support missions but they're waiting for the time they'll have big money. Most people in this category never give a dime even if millions come their way because they didn't have a culture of giving when they had little.
They forget that little is much with God. If you mean to give to support missions, give that little in your hands. God will accept what you have not what you anticipate to have.
Over the years, in our ministry, those who give little consistently have grown over time to give bigger amounts but those that always wait to give when they're big have never given at all. We're still waiting.
If you know the right thing to do to help someone or to salvage a situation, do it now. Don't wait till you're big. Maybe you intend to help the poor, widow, downtrodden and less privileged, don't wait till you become a millionaire. Start with one and trust God to make it grow into a multi million charity organization.
Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might, for in the realm of the dead, where you are going, there is neither working nor planning nor knowledge nor wisdom.( Ecclesiastes 9:10).
The only people who don't grow are those who don't start small.
Father, I receive the grace to start small and grow big in Jesus name.
