We live in a world of audio& visuals. Every trending music or style today works with these two things because they are the gates that leads into the mind. If you want to corrupt the soul, the power of audio combined with visuals is the key.

Previously, we examined the first gate to the mind which is the eye gate. Today, we shall examine the second gate which is the ear gate.

Satan has packaged conversations&music that can corrupt the soul If listened to. There are musicals that leaves the soul wandering between the alley of holiness and sexual immorality.

One of the reasons christians are not encouraged to listen or dance to carnal songs is because of its tendencies to corrupt and pollute the soul. There are songs with a direct command to be immoral.

If a believer listens to songs that are sexually suggestive, the spirit behind that song enters the person and starts influencing the listeners.

Have you not noticed that in brothels and club houses, they play songs that stirs the people into immorality? I know this because I have walked past such places and I know the owners of such facilities deliberately play those songs for their own profiting.

As soon as their customers listen to sexually suggestive songs and display nude girls around doing strip or pole dances, they'll quickly request to have one of the girls for sexual action in a room provided for this purpose. This is what Satan is doing in our generation.

The sound released into an atmosphere is powerful. It can pollute or sanitize. Every music have its own anointing either godly or demonic. Your ears should not listen to just anything.

If you mean to sanitize your mind, close the ear gates against pollutants and open it to the word and other edifying contents. Just as what you listen to can pollute, listening to the word of through preaching or music also have the power to purify.

Jesus says, "You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you"( Jn 15:31 NIV).

This is one of the reasons Christians are encouraged to listen to God's word and anointed music. It can purify.  Your ears should not listen to what will stir you into sexual immorality. You must filter the sounds coming to into your ears.
