If you ask what the greatest sexual organ is, many will point to their private parts whereas it is not. On the streets, when men are talking about sexual immorality, I have heard some say, "this thing(referring to their penis) doesn't have a mind of its own". Meaning, it can do anything and wander any how.

That is just an excuse to shy away from responsibility. The challenge with overcoming sexual immorality is that most people do not want to take responsibility to sanitize the greatest sexual organ which is the mind. The mind of every man is the greatest sexual organ not the penis or vagina.

Bible says, "Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life"( Prov 4:24 NLT).

The mind is the control centre of all our actions. If the mind is full of the word, man produces right actions but If otherwise, the wrong action is produced. No one falls into the sin of immorality by mistake. Rather, it is a product of the content of our minds.

Jesus says, "A good person produces good things from the treasury of a good heart, and an evil person produces evil things from the treasury of an evil heart. What you say flows from what is in your heart"( Lk 6:45 NLT).

The moment you open the door of your mind to pornography(soft or hard), sexually suggestive video and media content, uncontrolled looks and imagination of the opposite sex or environments that influences sexual behaviours, you will struggle to overcome sexual immorality.

The good news is that victory is possible. The bible says, "Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect"( Rom 12:2 NLT).

The starting point is to guard your mind against all forms of mind pollutants and daily renew your mind with God's word. This entails paying attention to what the word says and putting it into practice. The more you practice righteousness, the stronger you become. This is where the real work is.
