Isaiah31:1 Woe to them that go down to Egypt for help; and stay on horses, and trust in chariots, because they are many; and in horsemen, because they are very strong; but they look not unto the Holy One of Israel, neither seek the Lord!
DO NOT SEEK HELP FROM EGYPT
One of the temptations you might face in your wilderness season is to seek help from other sources. Ungodly alternatives will present itself to you.
Sometime ago, I was inside a commercial bus in Lagos, a man began to advertise charms. He sweet-talked the passengers and boasted about the efficacy of his charms to make them rich yet he looked poor and haggard.
Most of the people patronized him. The lady that sat beside me began to make jest of those buying the charms.
The man kept talking about the several cases or issues the charm could solve, immediately, this lady ordered for hers. I was shocked. I thought we were both against such. From what i saw, even those who professed to be 'Christians' patronized him.
The only help Egypt offers is demonic help. You cannot afford to run to Egypt charmers for help, it attracts God's curse.
There are many believers that still believe going the traditional way is a good way when all else fail.
The resurgence of African Traditional Religion is beginning to gain ground. They're now on radio and even television. Their common mantra is that traditional religion is older than Christianity so it is superior. They try to appeal to the reasoning of their listeners. That's Egyptian trick.
In your wilderness season many Egyptian options will present itself but please don't go there.
Psalm16:4 says: "Their sorrows shall be multiplied that hasten after another god".
The resultant effect of seeking help from Egypt is more sorrows. Stay with God and trust Him, your wilderness season will soon be over.
Father,I receive grace to trust you fully In Jesus name
