Eccl3:11 Yet God has made everything beautiful for its own time...
A man walked to the top of a hill to talk to God. He had a conversation with him. The man asked, “God, what’s a million years to you?” and God said, “A minute.”
Then the man asked, “Well, what’s a million dollars to you?” and God said, “A penny.”Then the man asked, “God…..can I have a penny?” and God said, “Sure…..in a minute.”
It means the man would have to wait a million years literally.
If you have not waited for anything before, you may not understand the subject of God's timing.
Waiting on God for anything is not so easy to the flesh because God's timing and table is different from ours.
Oftentimes, some of the things we call delay aren't delays as far as God is concerned because he determines the time not us.
You can only use that term 'delay' when the scheduled timing for a thing has passed. If you don't know the scheduled timing for the fulfilment of a promise, you cannot say it is delayed.
There's a popular mantra that says: God's time is the best. Why does God put us on the waiting line? Why is it that sometimes when it seems as if God has answered our prayers we still have to wait for months or years before we see the answer?
The only answer I can give is that God is using our waiting time to process us. God doesn't waste our time.
Time is a tool in the hands of God to process us and make us who He want us to be. I'm yet to see a good product that was not properly processed, good things take time.
All those great promises from God will not happen except you pass through the preparation furnace of time.
It is not the promises God is processing but you. You are the one that needs proper divine processing to feature in the promise of God.
Character to handle greatness is what God is building in us with time. God may not give you 'big' things except you are processed to handle 'big' things.
True and lasting greatness takes time. God want us to grow through the process and mature so that we can handle things rightly.
Your waiting time is not a wasted time. Start learning the lessons and submit yourself to God's processing course.
Father, I receive the grace to be processed in your waiting room.
