PROCESSED IN THE WILDERNESS Pt.12
1Cor10:10 Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer.
DO NOT MURMUR
In your wilderness season, do not murmur. God hates murmuring.
One of the things that got God angry towards the children of Israel was because they murmured. In fact, their murmuring opened the door for the destroyer to destroy them.
They were used to murmuring during slavery in Egypt. Their task masters stressed them and put unnecessary burden on them so murmuring was a normal reaction but they forgot that God is a loving father not a task master.
I have heard of people who would give God conditions like: 'If you don't do 'XYZ', i'll backslide'. Some think they can manipulate God into doing things for them by issuing threats.
Even the Israelites told Moses that Egypt was better than the wilderness because of foods like onion, garlic, etc. Murmuring drove them to saying those things that displeased God.
During your wilderness season, please don't murmur. Do not talk anyhow to God and accuse Him as If He's a criminal.
Murmuring is an expression of faithlessness, it is another way of saying God does not know what He is doing.
You must be conscious of God's mercy and love during your wilderness season. Know that His dealings with you during the wilderness is season is borne out of love not anger.
Satan will always try to paint God to you in bad light and make you feel He is wicked. He may suggest you try out ungodly alternatives because He doesn't care.
Please don't listen to Him. If you accept his suggestion, he will drive you into destruction like he did to the Israelites in the wilderness.
Father, I rebuke the spirit of murmuring in my life In Jesus name.
